Herb Ohta Jr. Ukulele Workshops

Herb Ohta, Jr. will be doing 2 workshops on Sunday August 1.
Workshop 1: Strumming for All Levels
Time: 1:30 pm to 2:45 pm Cost: $30
Herb will teach you to listen to rhythms and make them into
strumming patterns. Also learn basic strumming patterns that
will get you strumming along to many songs. For all levels.
Workshop 2: Arpeggios and Hawaiian Turnarounds
Time: 3:00pm to 4:15pm Cost: $30
Herb will teach you arpeggios that his father Ohta-san taught
him when he was 9 years old. Waltz patterns, common time
patterns and also maybe IZ's famous "Over the Rainbow"
strumming pattern. For all levels.
Attend both workshops for $50.

Workshops will be held at the Ukulele Jams Studio, 565 N. 6th
Street, Suite C, in Japan Town, San Jose (one block from
Ukulele Source.
